CHALLENGE
The 36 days of Type Challenge has always been a popular instagram event among illustrators and designers. Knowing absolutely nothing about handdrawn type or type design and expression, I took on this challenge to experiment with type in a way that is paced, low committment, and fulfilling.

OVERVIEW
Quite straightforward, I dedicated one quarter to leisurely experimenting with type forms and palettes. I drew inspiration from everywhere, every nook and cranny possible. Some letters are inspired by blackletter, other’s from Elsa’s dress in Frozen. I let the project take me away with no limitations.
